Parallel Control Experiment: Be Part of a Global Lunar Research Initiative
The Parallel Control Experiment invites you to join a groundbreaking participatory research project, mirroring plant growth experiments conducted on the lunar surface. As part of the ALEPH Project, this experiment offers you the chance to conduct plant growth experiments on Earth, running in parallel with those happening on the Moon.
This initiative will provide unique insights into how plants grow in different gravity conditions and contribute to the future of space and terrestrial agriculture. Participants from across Australia and around the world will collaborate via a digital portal, sharing data and observations in real time. The data collected will help bridge the gap between space-based and Earth-based horticulture, contributing to one of the most ambitious lunar research projects to date.
This is just the beginning—stay tuned for the launch of the full experiment when the ALEPH Project’s payload touches down on the lunar surface in late 2024 to early 2026. In the meantime, register your interest to be the first to receive updates, materials, and details on how to participate.
